This 'As Above So Below' Tree pendant illustrates a verse from the Emerald Tablet, a cryptic Hermetic text from almost 1200 years ago: "That which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above."

The tree's branches mirror its roots, and the tree, with an aged twisting trunk, is raised in relief against a background that has a pebbled texture and is darkened with oxidation.

The opposite side of the pendant also has a pebbled texture.
